About Us
Trinity Episcopal Church in Houghton, found on the Keweenaw Peninsula in the UP of Michigan, was established in 1860, and the present church building was completed in 1910.

Currently, Trinity Episcopal is a family sized congregation in the Diocese of Northern Michigan, who strive to live out our Baptismal covenant of welcoming the belovedness and inherent dignity of every person.

We gather together weekly for the service of Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings. But our presence as Christ’s body in the world extends to our food pantry, the active welcoming of children and families in our worship space through our Prayground, weekly lay-led evening prayer services, and a variety of opportunities to gather to learn more about ourselves and God in community.

If you are curious about our congregation, our worship, or our work in the world, we invite you to join us in worship or set up a time to chat with our Priest-in-charge, The Reverend Sarah Diener-Schlitt.
